David Warner. The former Australia opener was announced by the Gorkhas on 15 September, in a video posted to their social media. He's won the ODI World Cup twice (2015 and 2023), the T20 World Cup in 2021 and the World Test Championship (2021-23) with Australia.

"I am really excited to be coming to Nepal and joining the Kathmandu Gorkhas squad," he said in the video.

Biratnagar Kings

Andre Russell. The West Indies all-rounder signed on 18 October. He won the T20 World Cup with the West Indies in 2012 and 2016, and the IPL with Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014 and 2024.

Angelo Mathews. The former Sri Lanka captain has also joined the Kings, Republica reported.

They also have Ajantha Mendis, the former Sri Lanka spinner, as head coach. He was announced on 19 July.
